MISSION STATEMENT
Prelude is a POC-run publishing company and the start to your writing career. We understand how the many don't have the opportunities to get their work published and are working to combat this. At Prelude, we are dedicated to the effort to lift up people’s voices and bring more diversity into the writing industry.
NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER AMALA THEAKANATH:
Writing has been one of my passions since I was little. My dad is well-versed in the book industry and guided me through the process of publishing my book but one thing I realized was that most don’t have the same opportunity to do so. Not only this, getting the attention of a publishing company is quite hard for anyone starting out. Keeping these two points in mind, the idea of Prelude Publishing came to me. I wanted a company that could help fledgling authors who wanted their ideas out in the world but had no idea where to start, and this was the result.
